1: Send the details to Pay Protect – Start by uploading the quotation/invoice for the agreed work, including details of any staged payments and dates for estimated completion.
2: Customer Confirmation – The Consumer confirms that all of the details are correct and will then transfer the agreed funds to the Pay Protect Secure Business Holding Account.
3:Work will then commence – Any additional jobs or alterations will be sent through Pay Protect and all work will be completed.
4: Payment – The customer will confirm that they are completely satisfied and payment will be promptly made to the Tradesperson in line with the Pay Protect T&C’s.

Q: How do I join the Pay Protect Community?
Create a Pay Protect Account using the link above and follow the simple instructions.
Q: How long will it take to create and account?
It only takes a few minutes to apply for an account and Pay Protect will approve it within 24 working hours, often sooner. If you need to move quickly on a project, call us on (0300) 100 0000
Q: How quickly are the funds released once the job is completed?
Once the job has been completed the funds will be securely transferred to your chosen bank account within 24 working hours of your customer confirming that they are completely satisfied.
Q: What happens if the customer is not happy with the work that has been carried out?
Any issues can be sent to Pay Protect within 72 hours of the work being completed. If there are any concerns raised by the customer, the funds will remain in the Pay Protect Secure Business Account until they have been satisfactorily resolved under the Pay Protect terms and conditions.
Q: What type of Jobs and Industries does Pay Protect Cover?
We cover all construction, building projects and most Tradespeople.
Q: What happens if the customer wants to make changes to the original work quoted for or requests to have some additional work carried out?
We recommend any additional work or alterations is authorised through Pay Protect following the normal process. This way the whole job is protected under the Pay Protect umbrella.
Q: What is the fee for using the Pay Protect trusted platform?
There are no hidden fees. The only fee is 2.5% +vat for the tradesperson to pay.
Q: Do funds gradually get released as the project progresses?
For larger projects the transfer of funds will be set up to compliment any agreed staged payments. Funds will only be released when the customer authorises them or alternatively after 72 hours has passed.
Q: Do I have to use Pay Protect for every job or project?
No, if you prefer to deal with cash or another funding option and the risks associated with that then Pay Protect is not for you. Pay Protect can only guarantee Payments where jobs and projects are correctly processed through their platform.
